Appeasement

Peaceful sleep, easy digestion: the star anise spreads its benefits in the whole body.

The mood improves; fatigue disappears and motivation returns with clarity of mind allowing a more global vision of reality.

Digestive, anti-spasmodic, sedative.

Words by Anny Schneider

It is the sunniest anise because it comes from the Tropics.

It brings joy to the heart and improves the most gloomy mood.

In Asia and the Caribbean, they administer it in compresses and light herbal tea to babies suffering from colic.

In the kitchen, in the form of powder or essential oil, added sparingly at the end of cooking, it softens desserts and stir-fries and facilitates their digestibility.

In the tropical islands, it is an essential ingredient of the “ arranged rum ”, a mother tincture (or synergistic cocktail), digestive and euphoriant.

Star Anise essential oil is excellent for purifying the breath, relieving aerophagia and bloating.

In addition, when applied topically and diluted,  Anis is an antispasmodic and nervine, indicated for calming muscle pain, neuralgia and excess nervous tension.

We find Star Anise in several Mediterranean aperitifs and digestives including Ouzo, Pastis and Sambuca.

Origin of this essential oil

This organic star anise essential oil from India is distilled from the fruits of the plant.
