Cautions and warnings:
Do not use pure essential oils. Essential oils are diluted in a vegetable oil when applied to the skin. Carry out a skin tolerance test in the crook of your elbow and wait 48 hours before using the oil on the skin. Do not use the essential oil if you notice a reaction such as redness, itching or stinging.
Keep out of reach of children.
If accidental ingestion occurs, seek urgent medical attention or contact a Poison Control Center.
Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Essential oils should not be applied to the eyes, the eye contour area, neither into the ears. In case of contact, apply a plenty of vegetable oil and take promptly medical advice.
If symptoms persist or worsen when using essential oil, consult a health care practitioner.
If you have epilepsy or asthma, consult a health care practitioner prior to use.
Avoid exposure of applied area(s) to the sun.

The essential oil of this wonderful now rated as an Apiaceae (ex-umbelliferous), is especially carminative and digestive.

It is the fennel from Provence.

It is especially effective against gas and ballooning, with a drop on the tongue after the meal, or anointing on the abdomen.

It can also be added to a bakery or simmered asian dish.

Lymphatic drainer, fennel essential oil is also used in preparations diluted in vegetal oil treating cellulite and to reduce oedemas.

This essential oil is obtained in India from seeds of the sweet organic fennel.

Fennel essential oil is not recommended for people who have had a personal or family history of hormone-dependent cancers.

Its applications will be very interesting in particular to stimulate lactation in breastfeeding women or in the event of menstruation or difficult digestion.

Fennel, Foeniculum vulgare or Foeniculum officinale, has many varieties including sweet fennel which belongs to the dulce variety and bitter, common or wild fennel whose variety is vulgare.

Fennel belongs to the Apiaceae family like many herbs.

Its essential oil is rich in ethers including trans-anethole and also contains monoterpenes, ketones, oxides, monoterpenols and coumarins.

After those of tarragon and exotic basil, it is the most antispasmodic of essential oils.

It facilitates digestion and "drives away the winds", it is said to be carminative.
