Lymphatic drainer, fennel essential oil is also used in preparations diluted in vegetal oil treating cellulite and to reduce oedemas.
This essential oil is obtained in India from seeds of the sweet organic fennel.

Son huile essentielle est riche en éthers dont du trans-anéthole et contient aussi des monoterpènes, des cétones, des oxydes, des monoterpénols et des coumarines.
Après celles d’estragon et de basilic exotique, elle est la plus antispasmodique des huiles essentielles.
Elle facilite la digestion et "chasse les vents", on dit qu’elle est carminative.
