Do not use pure essential oils. Essential oils are diluted in a vegetable oil when applied to the skin. Carry out a skin tolerance test in the crook of your elbow and wait 48 hours before using the oil on the skin. Do not use the essential oil if you notice a reaction such as redness, itching or stinging.
Keep out of reach of children.
If accidental ingestion occurs, seek urgent medical attention or contact a Poison Control Center.
Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Essential oils should not be applied to the eyes, the eye contour area, neither into the ears. In case of contact, apply a plenty of vegetable oil and take promptly medical advice.
If symptoms persist or worsen when using essential oil, consult a health care practitioner.
If you have epilepsy or asthma, consult a health care practitioner prior to use.
Avoid exposure of applied area(s) to the sun.

It is the most famous of the oils used in meditation and rituals, all cultures and religions, to connect with the divine.
A universally sacred oil (it is also called Boswellia sacra), including in the Christian religion, it was one of the gifts of a mage King to the Child Jesus.
The essential oil of incense soothes anxiety while raising the spirit.
Frankincense is anti-inflammatory and anti-infectious against respiratory tract infections, to be used in inhalation.
Diluted in vegetable oil, it is also an excellent antiseptic and local healing in case of dermatoses or doubtful lesions.

Boswellia serrata is a plant that produces Indian frankincense.
It is also known as Indian olibanum, Salai guggul and Sallaki in Sanskrit.
The plant is native to much of India and the Punjab region that extends to Pakistan.
All that is called boswellia (or Olibanum in English) is not Boswellia serrata.
Indeed, this term refers to the resin produced by several trees of the boswellia species, including Boswellia carterii (from which the resin used as the base for incense is obtained), Boswellia frereana and Boswellia bhau-dajiana.
In India, China and North Africa, boswellia resin has been used for millennia.
Traditionally, the resin of various Boswellia species was burned during religious ceremonies.
The smoke of these resins is said to induce a state conducive to meditation, prayer and spiritual experience.
Boswellia resin is part of the official pharmacopoeia of India and China.
In traditional Ayurvedic medicine (India) it is attributed with anti-inflammatory properties useful for the treatment of rheumatic pain, inflammation of the digestive tract and respiratory tract as well as various skin conditions.
In traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), it is used to treat rheumatic and menstrual pain as well as bruises and other skin injuries.
It is cited by Avicenna in the "Canon of Medicine".
