Do not use pure essential oils. Essential oils are diluted in a vegetable oil when applied to the skin. Carry out a skin tolerance test in the crook of your elbow and wait 48 hours before using the oil on the skin. Do not use the essential oil if you notice a reaction such as redness, itching or stinging.

If accidental ingestion occurs, seek urgent medical attention or contact a Poison Control Center.
Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Essential oils should not be applied to the eyes, the eye contour area, neither into the ears. In case of contact, apply a plenty of vegetable oil and take promptly medical advice.

This pistachio lentisk hydrolate (also called "Mastic tree") from Morocco, is obtained by distillation of the leaves of this Mediterranean shrub.
Vascular and venous decongestant, in local application it treats hemorrhoids and varicose veins.
It also relieves edema of the legs as well as swelling and inflammation of the prostate.
Inhaled or diffused, and combined with other bronchodilators, it cleans the air and acts as an expectorant and decongestant of the sinuses.
The beauties of the harems of the Levant of old used it as a deodorant and chewed the gum to keep their breath.
The goat and sheep breeders on the shores of the Mediterranean know that their animals are crazy about Pistachio Lentiscus and that the plant deliciously scents milk and cheeses.

The origin of the pistachio mastic tree, also called the Mastic Tree, is located in the Mediterranean regions of Europe, Asia and Africa.
From the Anacardiaceae family (such as mango, sumacs, cashews, soft, etc.), with evergreen foliage, this shrub prefers the scrublands and scrublands of Mediterranean climates.
In Ghisonaccia, in Haute-Corse, there is an individual estimated to be between 700 and 1000 years old.
