Maceration of organic Rosemary grown in Greece in organic cold pressed Olive oil.
Rosemary, Salvia rosmarinus, is a shrub that grows wild on the Mediterranean coast. The name comes from the Latin «ros marinus» (sea dew), or from the Greek «rhops myrinos» (aromatic bush), it is also called «grass-to-crowns» and in Provence «encensier».
Fresh, dried, distilled or macerated, this Mediterranean herb is used as frequently in perfumery and herbalism as in cooking.
In herbalism rosemary promotes digestion, regulates lipids, can help improve blood circulation, and supports us in difficult times when stress and fatigue could disturb us. For care of the outside of the body, rosemary protects against cellular aging, resolves skin problems and accelerates hair growth.
This maceration of fresh rosemary in olive oil can be used in the creation of body and hair care products as or added to a massage oil blend.
