Cautions and warnings:
Do not use pure essential oils. Essential oils are diluted in a vegetable oil when applied to the skin. Carry out a skin tolerance test in the crook of your elbow and wait 48 hours before using the oil on the skin. Do not use the essential oil if you notice a reaction such as redness, itching or stinging.
Keep out of reach of children.
If accidental ingestion occurs, seek urgent medical attention or contact a Poison Control Center.
Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Essential oils should not be applied to the eyes, the eye contour area, neither into the ears. In case of contact, apply a plenty of vegetable oil and take promptly medical advice.
If symptoms persist or worsen when using essential oil, consult a health care practitioner.
If you have epilepsy or asthma, consult a health care practitioner prior to use.

In Central and South America, Palo santo means "sacred wood".
Exactly, its burned wood or its anointed oil are used by shamans and medicine men in purification rituals and ceremonies.
From the same botanical family of Burseraceae as oliban and myrrh, it acts in depth to reharmonize the body and the spirit.

- Monoterpenes (78.2%): limonene (58.6%), (E)-beta-ocimene (20.8%), alpha-terpineol (10.9%)
- Sesquiterpenes (9.6%): beta-elemene (11.3%), germacrene D 1.7%, gamma-muurolene 1.2%
- Menthofuran 6.6%, carvone 2.0%, trans-carveol 1.1%, pulegone 1.1%
The characteristic fragrance is due to various molecules: (−)-dihydro-α-agarofuran, (−)-5,11-epoxy-4α,5β,10α-eudesm-1-ene, (−)-4α-hydroxydihydroagarofuran, (−)-3β,4β-oxidoagarofuran, (−)-10-epi-γ-eudesmol, (−)-5,11-epoxy-4α,5β,10α-eudesm-1-ene, (−)-dihydro- α-agarofuran, (−)-4α-hydroxydihydroagarofuran, (−)-3β,4β-oxidoagarofuran, (−)-10-epi-γ-eudesmol[4], 1-acetyl-4-isopropenyl-1-cyclopentene, 2 -methyl-5-isopropenyl-1-cyclopenten-1-carboxaldehyde, 6,10-epoxy-7(14)-isodaucane, 10-hydroxy-6,10-epoxy-7(14)-isodaucane.
