Pumpkins, Curcubita pepo, originated in North America, specifically in northeastern Mexico and the southern United States.
They almost disappeared after the extermination of the local mega-fauna (mastodons, giant terrestrial sloths, gomphothères, etc.) which dispersed the seeds, but paradoxically humanity ensured its survival by starting to eat them, and then to cultivate them.
The oldest known written record of the pumpkin dates back to the 13th century, in The Diet of the Aldebrandin Master Corps of Siena, which ranks them among «the four major cold seeds [winter seeds] ».

With age, some men experience difficulty urinating and there has been a marked improvement with the use of this oil, which will prevent the inflammation responsible for the problem.
Its antioxidant virtues slow down the aging of the prostate and thus delay urinary difficulties.
In cases of urinary tract infections, it is also used.
It is a natural remedy to treat these infections, especially in women who are more willing to suffer from them.
