Harvested by hand in the Lower St. Lawrence River, it is then washed, filtered, sieved and dried in the sun. before being finely pulverized.
Very rich in minerals, the grey clay of Kamouraska is the ally of dry, sensitive and lacking shine.
Grey clay is often made from volcanic land, also called bentonite.
It is perfect for masks, poultices, wraps and exfoliating care, plus rose hydrolat or chamomile.
It facilitates the healing of tissues and helps to lighten alcoholic solutions (beer and wine).
Sprinkled in the shoes, it absorbs sweat and unpleasant odors.
