Words by Anny Schneider

Great tonic, this Scots pine essential oil energizes the body and mind (nervous or intellectual exhaustion, depression).

It even has stimulating effects of the adrenal, either cortisone-like and even regulators of blood sugar.

Very expectorant by the way, it is also an excellent antiseptic pulmonary.

It is known to be an analgesic and so relieves cramps, arthritis and rheumatism.

For use in microdiffusion, friction or massage, always diluted in a cold pressed oil.

Origin of this essential oil

This organic essential oil of Scots pine from Greece is distilled from the twigs of the tree.

Suggestions for use

According to Doctor Jean Valnet, father of clinical aromatherapy, inhaling (3 to 5 drops in a large bowl of hot water, cover the head with a towel and make deep breaths for a few minutes) it is a powerful antiseptic for the respiratory system as it helps thin excess mucus.

In pure topical application, it is a tonic for the adrenal glands.

Diluted in a vegetable oil such as castor, avocado or even olive, it can help alleviate rheumatic pain and other joint problems and/ or muscular/ tendons.

According to Dr.Pénoël and aromatologist Franchomme, it is a sexual stimulant, support the neural activity of the brain (neurotonic) and is also a powerful antifungal.
